Wild Animals Invade Michigan Zoo!

Yep, that's right. Wild animals (also known as Kayla, Kourtney, Carter and Mason) invaded the zoo at Battle Creek, Michigan on Monday. Here the wild animals are seen attacking a harmless ant.

Carter was so excited to be at the zoo for the first time.

Carter feeding the giraffes.

Wild animals on the loose. They may look harmless, but trust me they aren't!

Carter's favorite animals were fowl from Africa. He went crazy to get a closer look at them.

Carter's first carousel ride. He looks like a pro doesn't he?

Carter's second carousel ride. I think he wanted to show Daddy how much fun the carousel is.

After a long day at the zoo the wild animal was finally tranquilized. He slept soundly for quite some time and the real animals finally felt safe again.

Our Trip to the Land of Great Lakes

We went to Michigan to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa along with my uncle, aunts and cousins over Memorial Day weekend. We hadn't been to Michigan to see them since I was six weeks old (last Labor Day). This time Daddy didn't try to pack me in the suitcase. My cousins Kayla and Kourtney (now affectionately known as Ethel and Mertel) went with us so this time.

Here I am watching tv with Great Grandpa. Uncle Alan has one of those nice 50 inch lcd tv's that I keep telling Pawpaw that I want, but he still isn't listening. It was great watching tv on it!

Here I am with Great Grandma. She thought I was super cute, and rightly so. I mean, look at me. Who could think otherwise?

I'm showing Great Grandma how to use her walker properly. I'm a pro at using walking aides, so I thought I'd show her how it's done.

Here I am with Great Grandpa again. Maybe I get my hairline from him...

Here's the whole lot of us. Daddy, Great Grandpa, Me, Kourtney, Mommy, Great Grandma and Kayla.

The Modern Version of Peekaboo

Pay attention everyone. I'm only going to show you this once, so look, listen and learn. Here's the new hip way to play peekaboo. I'm going in slow motion so you can take it all in, but remember when you're really playing peekaboo you have to go fast.

Step One: Hide behind the curtain
Step Two - Four: Move the curtain to the side and shout "peekaboo"

Pity Me for I was Sick

Recently I was pretty sick. I had a lot of congestion in my chest and I was wheezing pretty badly so I had to start taking breathing treatments. Luckily I got to wear a pretty cool dinosaur mask. I'm feeling much better now so I don't have to take them as often as I was, but I am still taking one treatment at night for awhile.

Here I am attempting to play while I get my treatment.
It only looks like I'm smiling. I'm sick remember?

I'm adapting to wearing my mask and playing at the same time. I inherited my multi-tasking abilities from my Mommy.

I'm in my new house!

I don't really have very good pictures of my new house yet, but I do have a couple of me showing off my room.

Where's Carter?

Where's Carter you may ask? Well, he's busy reeking havoc in our new house. We moved last Wednesday, so you'll have to just wait to see new pictures of Carter until we're fully settled in and functioning again. We're hoping to get everything that's in the garage in the house and put away by this weekend so that we can start on moving the stuff from storage. At this time we don't have Internet at home, so that will add to the delay on new Carter pictures. It's not my fault! I can't help it that we're not in the postal system's database as a valid address and no one will give us cable/Internet until they think we are real.

Until then, just use your imagination and add a pound or two to how much he weighed last time you saw him and picture him walking and pushing Fudge's crate across the room instead of crawling everywhere.
